Inside Joan’s Kitchen, I’ll teach you how to make healthy eating feel simpler and way less stressful in real life. You’ll learn how I personally prep protein-forward breakfasts that help you start the day feeling energized and satisfied, simple lunches you’ll actually look forward to eating, and easy dinners that make weeknights feel less chaotic.

I’ll show you my favorite “prep once, eat well all week” systems, how to prep parts instead of full meals, and how to stock your fridge, freezer, and pantry so healthy choices are the easy choices. We’ll cover smart snacks that help keep cravings at bay, freezer-friendly backup meals for busy weeks, grocery shopping strategies that save time and decision fatigue, and simple ways to use leftovers creatively so food doesn’t go to waste.

You’ll also get my favorite flavor upgrades, sauces, and mindset shifts that help food prep become part of your lifestyle and identity - not just another thing you “should” do. Most importantly, I’ll help you create a realistic system that works in your actual life, even during travel, holidays, and busy seasons.

Inside Joan’s Kitchen, you’ll begin to feel:

✓ Clear on what to prep each week

✓ More confident in your food choices

✓ Less overwhelmed by daily food decisions

✓ Prepared instead of reactive

✓ In control of your nutrition instead of letting your day control you

✓ More energized, satisfied, and consistent

♡ And most importantly… you’ll finally have a simple system you can repeat week after week, without relying on motivation or willpower.

INSTEAD OF ASKING:

“What should I eat?”

YOU’LL START ASKING:

“What’s already ready?”

And that changes everything.

REAL WINS from women I’ve taught in my kitchen.

WHAT WOMEN ARE SAYING

"Joan gave me the tools I've been craving for a long time. As a vegetarian with high metabolism, I was grabbing sugary snacks all day long. With Joan's recipes, this has completely changed. I've been able to stay away from junk food and I feel so good. An added bonus, my kids love the recipes too."

- Lotte

"I felt sluggish, moody, and overall not my best, until now. After attending the food prep demo and practicing on my own, I've learned the importance of food prep. It doesn't take as long as you think. I feel full and satisfied."

- Kari

And from past attendees, years later…

“Prep once for many meals, that single idea changed how I menu-plan every week.”

- Chelle

“I still make the ground turkey with salsa almost every week, two years later.”

- Jill

"Start with protein first, then build the plate. That tip has stuck with me for years."

- Mari

"The protein pudding tip is currently my obsession, I use it in my overnight oats."

- Ariane

“Taking a little time at the beginning of the week doesn’t just save time later - it saves you from getting off track when you’re in the thick of it.”

- Nancy, 10+ years later

"Joan made it so simple, especially learning how to keep eating with my family while doing a lower-carb approach for myself."

- JoAnn

Hi, I’m Joan

I don't love to cook. I love being prepared.

I’m a mom to three young women and married to my college sweetheart (for almost 25 years!) I’m a health and wellness coach for women in midlife, and health has been a huge part of my life since I was in high school.

But here’s something most people are surprised to hear: I don’t love to cook.

My husband loves it. My middle daughter loves it. For them, cooking is a creative project that they enjoy. For me, cooking is solving a problem. The problem is: I want energy, I want to feel good, and I do not want to be standing in front of the fridge at lunchtime with no plan.

Back in my twenties, I was working in fitness full-time, teaching a 5:30am spin class, training clients all day, and back at the gym for the evening shift. I couldn’t survive on whatever was in the break room. I needed real food, and I needed it portable. So I started experimenting. And one morning, I made the protein pancake that changed everything.

I can still remember the exact moment, standing in my kitchen, taking the first bite, and thinking: this is simple, this tastes good, and I can make a stack of these and have food for days. That was the moment the wheels really started turning for me with my meals. And it was right on time, because I needed something I could grab and bring with me as fuel.

That one recipe became the seed of everything I’ve taught since. Over the years, food prep has carried me through every era of my life, training clients, nursing three babies, stroller-strength classes in Florida, prepping for figure competitions, and building a coaching business while navigating the chaos of midlife. Every season looked different on the outside, but the system underneath was always the same: food ready, food easy to grab, food that fuels what I’m actually trying to do that day.

For more than two decades, I’ve been teaching this in my own kitchen, first informally to fitness clients and friends, then as official food prep demos. I served seven local women at a time around my in my own kitchen island with each food prep demo - but now I have a vision to help so many other women in midlife too.

Now I’m bringing my kitchen and these food prep demos online so I’m not capped at seven women at a time, so you don’t have to be local and so you can be in your OWN kitchen with me in mine, building the same simple system I’ve been teaching for nearly 30 years.

That’s why I created Joan’s Kitchen.
