How to Set Up the HabitShare App and Connect With Me

Here’s how to use the HabitShare app so we can track your habits together. It’s super easy to use - and I’ll be right there with you for accountability and encouragement!

Step 1: Download the App

  • Go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

  • Search for HabitShare and download the app (it's free!). https://habitshareapp.com/

Step 2: Create Your Account

  • Open the app and tap Sign Up.

  • Use your email to create your account (choose a secure password you’ll remember).

  • You may need to verify your email address.

Step 3: Set Up Your Habit(s)

  • Tap the + button to add a habit.

  • Enter a habit name (like “Strength Training” or “Drink 80oz Water”).

  • Choose how often you want to do it:

    • Daily, or

    • Specific days each week (e.g., Mon/Wed/Fri).

  • Toggle "Share Habit" ON if you want me to see it and keep you accountable.

  • Tap Create.

Step 4: Add Me as Your Accountability Buddy

  • Tap the Friends icon (bottom menu or top right corner, depending on your device).

  • Tap Add Friend (you may need to allow access to contacts).

  • Enter my email: joandandeneau@gmail.com

  • Tap Send Invite.

I’ll accept your invite, and then I’ll be able to see your progress and cheer you on!

🔁 Ongoing: Check In and Track

  • Each time you complete the habit, tap the green checkmark next to it for that day.

You and I will both be able to see your consistency - so we can celebrate wins and talk through roadblocks together!
