Why Tracking Your Habits Matters

Tracking isn’t about perfection - it’s about awareness. When you track your habits, you create a visual record of your effort, which helps you see progress that might otherwise go unnoticed.

It turns invisible wins into visible momentum.
Each check mark, dot, or app streak is a small celebration - proof that you’re showing up for yourself.

Here’s what happens when you track consistently:

✅ You stay more intentional - what gets tracked gets done.
✅ You build awareness - you start to notice patterns like which days or times you’re most consistent.
✅ You create momentum - seeing your streak builds motivation to keep it going.
✅ You get data, not drama - tracking helps you make adjustments based on facts, not feelings.
✅ You reinforce your identity - each small win reminds you that you are the kind of woman who follows through.

Whether you use a simple pen-and-paper tracker or a habit-tracking app, the goal is the same:
To stay mindful, celebrate progress, and turn daily actions into lasting habits that create your glow-up from the inside out.

Choose one of these 2 Trackers:

Optional for Nutrition Track:

If you find it helpful to track your nutrition and you vow not to become obsessed with it, AND you promise to aim for progress over perfection, then I recommend tracking so you have data rather than guesses or emotions. My Fitness Pal is one of the best ways to track your nutrition and assess where you are so you can make improvements. I recommend using MFP for a few days per week. DO NOT aim to track daily because you will fail and then feel guilty.

Optional for Fitness Track:

If you find it helpful to track your movement and you vow not to become obsessed with it, AND you promise to aim for progress over perfection, I recommend tracking your movement so you can have data rather than guesses or emotions.

My recommendation is to use any of the following:

  • Apple watch or

  • Oura Ring

  • Fit Bit

  • Garmin
