Step 2: outline your commitments
This is where you get clear on how you’ll follow through. Instead of hoping you’ll “find time,” you’ll decide in advance how you’ll show up for yourself during the 8 weeks.
If your focus is Fitness, your commitment might look like deciding when and where you’ll work out each week - and having a backup plan for the days life gets busy.
If your focus is Nutrition, your commitment could be how you’ll approach food prep and fueling your body - like setting aside 30 minutes on Sunday to prep, keeping quick protein options on hand, or aiming to include protein at each meal.
If you’ve chosen the Hybrid path, you’ll outline a simple plan for both movement and meals so you can stay consistent without overcomplicating it.
And while habit tracking isn’t mandatory, it’s highly recommended because each time you follow through and see your progress add up, you build self-trust and create the momentum that keeps you going.

This is where the magic happens. With everything laid out for you, it’s no longer about trying to figure it all out on your own - you simply show up and take the next step.

Who is The Midlife Glow Up for
1. Who is this program for?
Women in midlife (40+) who are tired of starting over, overwhelmed by all the fitness and nutrition “noise,” and finally ready to prioritize themselves with simple, sustainable habits.
2. I’m not very fit/healthy right now. Will this be too advanced for me?
Not at all- beginners welcome here. You’ll choose your path: Fitness, Nutrition, or Hybrid, and you’ll also choose your pace. The program is progressive in nature, so the workouts and nutrition strategies meet you where you’re at and grow with you.
Choosing Your Focus
3. What if I don’t know which area to focus on?
No worries. I’ll help you decide. I recommend starting with the area you struggle with most or the one that would move the needle the most in your health right now. (Fitness, Nutrition, or Hybrid - there’s no wrong choice!) Many women do multiple rounds of The Midlife Glow up - first time they focus on Fitness, second time Nutrition and third time, Hybrid.
4. What if I start with one focus and halfway through I want to switch?
I encourage you to stick with your original choice. Why? Because the transformation comes from building consistency and seeing it through. If you switch halfway, you risk missing the real growth. That said, you can always add on extra strategies if you’re ready for more, or if you start with Hybrid you can drop down to one focus anytime.
Nutrition & Workouts
5. Do I have to follow a strict meal plan?
Nope. You’ll get simple, protein-forward nutrition strategies and recipe ideas, but no restrictive rules, cutting out food groups, or extreme dieting. It’s about nourishing your body in ways that work for your life.
6. What equipment do I need for the workouts?
Just a few basics: a set of dumbbells and a mat. Optional extras like resistance bands or a bench can be used if you have them, but they’re not required.

7. How much time will this take each week?
Not as much as you might think! The program is designed to fit into your busy life - whether you’re just getting started or already have a routine. You’ll get flexible, efficient workouts and simple nutrition strategies that you can scale up or down depending on your goals and schedule. Even small, consistent steps add up to big changes.
8. What if I miss a call or can’t join live?
All group coaching calls are recorded and uploaded right away into the program hub so you can watch anytime. Workouts and resources are all pre-recorded for your convenience.
9. I travel a lot / my schedule is unpredictable. Can I still do this?
Absolutely. The program is designed with busy, real life in mind. You can take the workouts and strategies anywhere, and everything is accessible online.

10. How much support will I get?
You’ll have me as your coach walking alongside you, plus the encouragement of a community of like-minded women. You’ll also get weekly live group coaching calls for extra accountability and guidance, as well as our private chat community.
11. Will I get direct coaching from Joan or only group coaching?
You’ll get both! Inside the 8 weeks, you’ll have 3 opportunities to submit your form and receive direct coaching and feedback from me.
