LET’S PREP

FOod prep is self care

Set your future self up for success by taking some time when you are not busy and stressed to do some work. When life is chaotic, you will have fuel ready to go so you can stay energized all day long!

What is food prep?

Food Prep refers to any way you can set yourself up for success for the days / week ahead (consider all your meals not just dinner) - think of this as mix and match. This might include cooking protein, veggies and carbs, or portioning snacks. Food prep allows flexibility since you have pre-prepared components ready to assemble into various meals throughout the week. This method offers more spontaneity, letting your clients mix and match ingredients while still having nutritious food easily accessible.

What is meal prep?

Meal Prep typically refers to preparing for a complete meal - such as dinner, and usually involves not just yourself but others you may be cooking for. Often when you meal prep, you are doing some work ahead of time such as chopping of veggies, marinating meat etc so that when it comes time to make the meal, you have some things done already. Alternatively, meal prep includes freezer meals - that are 100% done and you just have to thaw and reheat and serve.
